The Sovereignty of God (Part 8): The Church

Just as God demonstrated faithfulness to His people Israel in the Old Testament, so too He has promised faithfulness to the church in the New Testament. His faithfulness is possible because of His steadfast love and sovereignty. In Matthew 16 we learn what the church will believe and confess, and why it will never fail. Ultimately, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, promises to fulfill the mandate to establish and sustain the people of God forever.
