Scripture is our supreme authority in all matters of faith, life and practice. In the long line of church history it has been the Scriptures that have transformed hearts, families, congregations, and communities into followers of Christ and those who proclaim Him to the ends of the earth.
“For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”

The distinctives of Prairie Chapel are summaries, of what we believe Scripture teaches with clarity and authority, and of our purpose and practice as a church based on that biblical foundation. We are grateful for many churches in Canada, the US and the world with whom we joyfully co-labour in Gospel efforts.
Our beliefs and practices are not inventive or novel but biblical, historical and orthodox. We affirm that the Lord, who is the same “yesterday, today and forever,” calls us to be faithful in continuing the work of ministry which from ancient times until this very hour, has given hope to the lost and comfort to God’s people.
