The Manger and the Cross Part 3

At our Christmas service we looked at the great hope that the incarnation of Jesus means and what the Gospel of salvation means for the nations. For most in our congregation, this is a personal story, being a church with ancestors from many nations.

We looked at how in biblical times few realized that the God of Israel would spread His love abroad, beyond the boundaries of the Holy Land. But for those who believed His Word in the Old Testament, they understood that the Lord had always declared that the nations would be called to worship Him and join with His people in praise.
