The Ascension of Christ

Even though they couldn't explain it, they were willing to proclaim it and risk their lives because they had witnessed it and experienced the fulfillment of Jesus' Promise that when He went "up"—the Holy Spirit would come "down."

But what does this mean for you and me in a world that in many ways is vastly different than the world of the first Century? Why is it so important for us to know about and believe in and live in the reality of the Ascension of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ?
