Upholding Marriage in a Fallen World

God designed marriage to be a glorious picture of Christ and His bride. The covenant of marriage therefore was to be permanent and demonstrate the fidelity of the Savior and the joyful trust of the church. Since the fall, marriage has been impacted by the curse, as well as the sins of men and women alike. But through the blood of Christ and His Gospel, marriages are healed, strengthened, and redeemed, and even sinful pasts and failures can be turned around by His mercy.
