Why Am I In Despair?

Psalm 42 gives what is one of the most desperate messages of hope out of the most despairing times of the psalmist. The psalmist asks himself why his soul is cast down and yet proclaims to himself the truth, "Hope in God." For all who deal with depression or sadness or despair at some point in their lives, this message will encourage you to find your hope where it is certain to be found, in the Lord.
