Forgive Us as we Forgive Others

Speaker:
Passage: Matthew 6:5–14, Psalm 103:1–5, 8–14
Service Type:

What is forgiveness? What does it mean to forgive and be forgiven? Forgiveness is a decision. Forgiveness is undeserved—it can’t be earned but it can be very costly. When a debt is cancelled it doesn’t just disappear—the debt is absorbed by someone else. The same is true of forgiveness. When we are forgiven someone else absorbs the affects of our sin and releases us from further punishment. In this message we explore this amazing truth and discover how important it is to be forgiven and to “FORGIVE One Another.”
