Resolute Faith in a World of Folly
What is the best kind of message Scripture has to offer for the end of one year and start of another? We could likely find hundreds of appropriate texts in the Bible to answer that question. It just so happens that the next part of Matthew 25, where we have been studying as a church, gives us an eternal perspective. Through two parables Jesus teaches—one about prudent and foolish virgins, and another about faithful and unfaithful stewards—we find instruction on both being ready for the return of our Lord and being diligent to serve Him with what He has gifted us to do. May we find great motivation as a church through our Lord's clear and urgent teaching.
