The First Passover: Tyranny & Atonement (Part 2)

In Part I of "The First Passover" we looked at the first nine plagues of Egypt and the lead-up to the final plague, death of the firstborn. The themes of Pharaoh's rebellion and hardheartedness along with God's faithfulness to make a distinction between the people of Israel and the people of Egypt lead us to Part II, where we will see the Passover event itself, and the mercy of God to provide a blood sacrifice that will avert His judgment on His people and allow them to journey on their great Exodus out of Egypt and into the Promised Land.
