The Undivided Church (Part 2)
In Part 1 we looked at the importance of the unity of the church as the Lord has brought so many to Prairie Chapel in recent years from many denominational or confessional backgrounds. As we work our way through the whole counsel of the Word of God as a congregation, verse-by-verse and book-by-book we need to have an attitude of teachability as well as harmony where disagreements on secondary issues exist. We’re going to tackle some difficult topics and passages of Scripture in the coming weeks—for the sake of greater unity—and this passage of Ephesians 4 is a phenomenal place to prepare our hearts for such study. In Part 2 we will look at the Trinitarian confession that all born-again believers in the Lord Jesus Christ have as a guard against division, quarrels, and disunity.
