Tribulations for the Nations

There is no people group, culture, ethnicity, or nation out of which God is not saving His people. And the promise we participate in is the future hope of a completely united eternity where all who have believed the gospel are together in our worship and praise of Christ forever.

And yet, in the purposes of God, His people face tribulations on behalf of Christ. In this passage we see that Paul suffered not only for the benefit of his own people, the Jews, but for the nations also—so that they would hear of the excellencies of Christ.
