Forsaking All for Christ

Chapters 18 and 19 of Matthew’s Gospel show the great contrast between the humble and the proud and the converted and the lost. In this final passage of chapter 19 we hear the response of Jesus to the question, “Behold, we have left everything and followed You; what then will there be for us?” The answer is the hope of the Gospel itself for all who believe.
