Blind to the Riches of Christ

The Son of God demonstrates that He is able to identify the idols of men’s hearts when He encounters a rich young ruler seeking assurance of his place in heaven. Jesus identifies his attachment to his great wealth and calls him to abandon it to follow Him. Do the riches of Christ have your heart or are you clinging to the wealth of this world? This story is the Lord’s warning to all who hear it.
