Sons and Strangers

The disciples were grieved at Jesus’ reminders to them of His approaching death, and they learned of His teaching and miracle concerning the taxation of sons. The Son of God Himself was exempt from any obligation but demonstrated His love and faithfulness through His sacrificial death and work on behalf of His beloved church.

We take a few minutes before going into Matthew 17 to rejoice and pray about the US Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. This will also be the final message in Matthew until the fall.
